These terms cover Mama Countdown, a free iPhone and iPad app made by an independent developer, and this website. They are short on purpose. Questions go to support@reelary.app.

The short version

• The app is free. There are no purchases, subscriptions or ads.
• It is not medical advice. Dates, sizes and to-dos are general estimates. Your doctor or midwife knows your pregnancy best.
• If something feels wrong, get help. Contact your care team or maternity unit straight away, or call your local emergency number.

Using the app

You may use Mama Countdown for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Health information

Mama Countdown is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition. The due date is an estimate calculated with standard rules (280 days after the first day of the last period, or 266 days after conception). Weekly sizes are rounded averages from published growth references and describe one baby; every pregnancy is different. Suggested to-dos show typical timing only.

Do not use the app to decide whether to seek care. Always follow the advice of your doctor, midwife or other qualified health professional.

Your data

Everything you enter stays on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. Because we hold no copy, we cannot recover data you delete or lose with a device. Keep your own device backups if you want them.

No warranty

The app and this site are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for any loss arising from using or being unable to use the app, except where the law does not allow that limitation.

App Store, iPhone and iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc. The dates, to-dos and weight entries shown on this website and in the App Store screenshots are sample data.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
